Many of us are suffering from additional stress right now in ways that we have not experienced before.  

Stress can affect our mental wellbeing without us realising.

  • stress drinking or comfort eating

ABOUT STRESS


Stress is a natural human occurrence.

However it becomes harmful when we are over-exposed to stressful situations.

We need ways to counteract it’s effects.

As stress continues over time changes happen in the body and brain.

Because it accumulates slowly, we get used to it.

We may come to think that suffering from these symptoms is just the way it has to be.


HERE’S THE GOOD NEWS (FINALLY!)


The good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way. You can reverse it’s effects. You can build resilience in a long lasting way.

The great thing about the brain is that, with the right exercises, it can be rewired.

Re-wiring the brain fixes the symptoms.

The Stress Reset

This 6 week course uses a combination of mindfulness and neuropsychology to create changes in the brain that enable you to feel more centred and calm, no matter what comes your way.

You may have tried some meditation, yoga, positive thinking techniques and noticed that it’s just not enough.

The problem is, over time and with what’s going on right now, sorry to break it to you, but you’ve put on some stress weight. Several kilos of worry from a novel virus. A few more of anxiety from constant change around us.

Sadly it isn’t going to fall off your shoulders in just a couple of quick sessions.

What you need is a professional stress coach to take you by the hand, help you lose the stress and keep it off for good.

In The Stress Reset you’ll receive:

- a fully integrated program that uses scientific methods based on the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) course and adapted for this specific moment in time.

This includes

  • weekly live sessions with Psychotherapist, Mindfulness Coach and Author Jess Bigogno

  • small group coaching so you feel motivated

  • support through your journey to feeling less stressed

  • exercises that reveal your personal stress mechanisms and how to overcome them

  • clear guidance so you know exactly what you need to do and when

  • accountability (so that you actually do it!)

Each week builds on the last so it doesn’t feel overwhelming at any time.

By the end of the course your anti-stress muscles will be ready for anything.



What do you get on the course?

- Every Tuesday at 7pm GMT, a 90 minute live online session with Jess your coach.

- Online sessions consist of a teaching section and a guided practice section. This is followed by group discussion where you get support from your coach Jess directly.

- You’ll receive a handbook guide to support you throughout your learning.

- Each week you will be given guided practices that build on each other to create change.

- Upon joining you’ll gain entry to a private community within a Facebook group exclusive to the course members.



The key to truly resetting your stress is:

She is the author of Mindful Reset - Easy Mindfulness for Complex Lives and the host on the Reset Button Calm Your Mind Podcast.

Hi, I’m Jess. I’m a psychotherapist and mindfulness coach. I’ve created The Stress Reset to help reset people’s levels of stress back to a manageable level and give them the strength and tools to stay that way.

We’ve all undergone a lot of change this year. It has been a big shock. Life as we knew it hasn’t yet returned. The uncertainly we are living in is causing a variety of stress or anxiety related symptoms. 

For me personally this manifested in some very physical symptoms over the past few months. A tightness in the chest which (several Covid tests later) has shown to have no medical basis. Also I find I am having more general worry and thoughts about the future. 

I am therefore more grateful than ever that I have some extremely effective tools and practices for managing stress and anxiety. These are tools that I have been using for several years, not only in my professional life but in my personal life too. 

It means that I’m able to recognise and understand my symptoms and release myself from their grip, helping me to feel a sense of calm within the storm.
