Why soak your nuts?

HOW TO SOAK NUTS

Place your nuts into a glass container.

Cover them with filtered water to about 8cm above the top of the nuts. 

Leave for minimum 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Rinse well with filtered water.

Dry off with towel.

Enjoy the delicious juicy nut. 

These can be stored like this for up to 5 days in the fridge.

Alternatively you can dehyrate them again by putting them in on a baking tray in a oven at a low heat for about 12 hours. They will then keep for weeks.

NB. Cashews should not be oversoaked, 12 hours max, as can go soggy. 

Dehydrate in oven at 90°C for 12 hours.
